Brutalist drawings for Local Authorities: Architectural Designs of the 1960s and 1970s
–
The display illustrates work in various local authority architects departments, including the London Borough of Croydon, in the 1960's and 1970's. It was a period of Brutalist architecture both in this country and abroad such as the National Theatre on the South Bank London. Several of the projects on display show this style of architecture expressing externally the functions within the buildings.
The exhibition is on the ground floor and no booking required.
