'Croydon's Future Spaces' Drop In (Kenley)
Over the last few months we have explored how the town centre works for local communities, and heard what sort of changes people would like to see in the future. Come pop-by The Food Shop Stop at Old Lodge Lane Baptist Church to find out more and input your thoughts, which will help guide the next stage of the strategy.
This drop-in at offers you an opportunity for you to test and shape the vision for the future of the Town Centre. At this drop-in you can come and speak to members of the Project Team and Council’s Regeneration Team about the vision. They will be on hand to take you through the ideas that have been heard so far, and listen to your comments, thoughts, and queries.
Topics include:
- Spaces to relax, socialise and perform
- Spaces to move through and connect
- Spaces that celebrate Croydon’s past
- Spaces that support Croydon’s communities
- Places in Croydon Town Centre
Drop-in when it suits you, there is no need to book!

Croydon Council is creating a new strategy to underpin the regeneration being planned for the town centre over the next 15 years, The Croydon Town Centre Regeneration Strategy.
A series of creative activities provide opportunities for the community, businesses and partners to get involved. This exhibition is complimented by a series of workshops facilitated by local arts charity Turf Projects, who are part of a multi-disciplinary team led by We Made That, working with Croydon Council in partnership with the GLA. The engagement is taking place from November 2023 into Winter 2024.
